Torcan is based in Ontario, Canada. Torcan offers a full range of chemistry services, ranging from pre-clinical development through to commercial manufacturing. Torcan is the very heart of NPIL Pharma's 'early phase' capability - a highly accomplished full service player in contract research, development and niche manufacturing of complex intermediates and actives.

The Torcan facility has modern, well equipped development labs, 7 kilo labs suites and 2 multipurpose pilot plants. The development labs are supported by over 40 people (15 PhDs) and offers process selection, optimization and analytical development.

Kilo lab suites and pilot plants have cryogenic capabilities upto -75 ° Celsius, high pressure hyphrogenation (upto 150 psi) and reactor sizes from 200-2000 litres.

Pilot plants also have drying, milling and packaging capabilities to handle finished APIs.

Torcan enjoys a very high reputation with regulatory agencies and was successfully audited (without any 483s) by the Korean FDA in 2004 and USFDA in 2005.
