The Morpeth site has Pharma Devt. and Scale up labs for tech transfer, scale up and optimization of formulations. Most of the small scale equipment is skid mounted and can be taken to qualified areas for manufacturing of small scale batches for pre-clinical/clinical studies
The Pharma development section has the following equipment :
- High shear granulation : 2.5 – 7.5 L
- Low shear granulators : 5-50L
- Fluid bed granulation : 3-15 Kg
- Roller compacter with 120 Kg/hr max output
- MG2 Encapsulation : 50000 cap/hr
- 2 Manesty and 1 Killian Compression machines
- Manesty coater : 15 Kgs
