Complementing the Torcan facilities in North America, the Early Phase Delivery Team (EPDT), at Huddersfield in the UK, provides a complete manufacturing service for pre-clinical and early-clinical intermediates and APIs.
A highly flexible operation, equipped to meet early phase development and manufacturing requirements, EPDT is focussed on the rapid and efficient execution of client projects with trusted chemistry and project management skills.
Uniquely designed to encompass all key functions within one 1100sq m facility, EPDT is equipped with dedicated process and analytical laboratories, kilo-labs and pilot-scale manufacturing capability.

Process Transfer:
Managed through a tech transfer procedure, technical detail can range across:
- New route development utilising NPIL proprietary technology
- Client med-chem route / copies of labbook pages
- Full tech transfer of multi-kilogram scale process incl. R & D documents, batch records, analytical methods etc.
Manufacture:
- 2 kg labs & 3 stream pilot plant
- 10 vessels - capacity ranging from 50-1800L
- Hydrogenation @ 100-600L scale up to 90psi
- Operating temperatures between –70° and 180°C
- cGMP compliant facilities and systems
- Focus on fast, effective delivery of RSMs to APIs
